The Volunteer Services Coordinator develops and directs an effective volunteer program that provides needed services by volunteers to hospital patients and staff, and enhances the quality of customer service at the hospital. The position staffs for and develops new programs to maintain a positive patient experience and to fully utilize volunteers in reaching hospital patient satisfaction goals.

License or Certification: - N/A Education, Training and Years of Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in education, human resources, human services or related field preferred. - Three years experience in volunteer administration required. Machines, Equipment Used: - General office equipment such as telephone, photocopier, fax, calculator, computer Physical Requirements: - Light-medium work: Walking, sitting and standing requirements all varied and may range from momentary to extended periods of time. - Reaching, handling, fingering, and feeling requirements for the use of writing, telephone devices, and computer keyboard. - Ability to lift and push/pull a minimum of 10 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
