The Clinical Social Worker provides counseling/psychological services to patients and families in an appropriate and timely manner. This position provides assessment services, triage and referral for psychological interventions. The Clinical Social Worker works with the interdisciplinary team to develop strategies to enhance patient participation in the rehabilitation program. The Clinical Social Worker provides patient and family education on mental health issues, identifies appropriate resources, and assists with referral to social support programs in the community.

License or Certification: - CCSW, LICSW preferred or as required by state law Education, Training and Years of Experience: - Masters Degree in Social Work - Minimum 2 years of social work experience in a medical/healthcare setting, - Will be expected to use a variety of highly developed skills in individual and/or group methods. Machines, Equipment Used: - General office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer. Physical Requirements: - Good visual acuity and ability to communicate. - Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements. Compliance: - Adheres to the company's Standards of Business Conduct. - Maintains current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable.
